STRB have considered the latest earnings and pay settlements information. The latest recruitment and retention trends are concerning. The analysis also suggests more needs to be done to ensure teacher pay is competitive. This report includes the data used to inform the recommendations and the full teacher labour market analysis. STRB reviewed broader issues that can contribute to improving the supply of teachers and school leaders. They suggest actions in a range of areas to improve the attractiveness of the teaching profession and ensure taxpayer value for money.
