Acceleration of Education in the Cluster Structure of the Economy
Education in the Asia-Pacific Region: Issues, Concerns and Prospects
The article discusses the issues of integrating an educational subject into an economic cluster. The authors describe the world experience of integration, the choice of the category of the cluster, which is most suitable for the development of the educational element, is given based on the structure, composition, and location of the cluster. The purpose of the study is to identify and refine the ways of development of education as a subject of the cluster structure of the economy based on the analysis of foreign and Russian experience, published scientific research. Methodological tools are selected taking into account specific goals and objectives of the work. This research is based on an interdisciplinary approach, abstract-logical, systemic, dialectical, and other methods of scientific cognition, which made it possible to identify and substantiate the main directions of the development of education in the context of cluster integration, were used. The authors have reasonably selected the innovative conduct of scientific and educational activities; improving the material and technical base; network arrangement of an educational subject; development of a scientific school in the direction of the economic activity of the cluster; development based on synergy and economies of scale as the main directions of accelerating education. The authors proposed the ranking of the elements of the educational subject by weight coefficients and the use of a number of estimated indicators of the development of education in order to improve the efficiency of management.
