The Study of Values instrument was updated by modifying 15 of 45 items and tested with 179 students who also completed the original version. Examined the usefulness of the K-correction procedure to adjust for a defensive response set on the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) with 61 patients being evaluated for lung transplants.
