Serious delinquent youth who attended a moderately confrontive juvenile awareness program at San Quentin Prison showed an improvement in attitudes. A multidisciplinary program designed for secondary prevention of child abuse and neglect provided services to 60 families assessed to be at risk for poor parenting.
