Personality, interest, and job satisfaction measures were completed by 395 workers. Congruence did not predict job satisfaction. Personality dimensions (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness) contributed significantly to satisfaction. Extraversion and low neuroticism were unique predictors.
