This investigation was designed to study the effects of an extratherapy intervention. It was found that attrition can be reduced significantly and total therapy involvement can be lengthened. The correlations of the Sensation Seeking Scale with Personality scales indicate that the general sensation seeking trait is related to an uninhibited, nonconforming, inpulsive, dominant type of extraversion, but not particularly related to the socialization type of extraversion. (Author)
