Scores of specialized Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) scales (the Prejudice scale, the Ego-Strength scale, and the MacAndrew Alcoholism scale) were related to the scores of the standard MMPI scales. Results indicate that prisoners who received major disciplinary sanctions were not readily differentiated from a randomly selected comparison group on the basis of correctional data.
