Hale, Robert L.; And Others – Psychology in the Schools, 1978
This study investigated the efficacy of predicting academic achievement as measured by the Wide Range Achievement Test, using the Slosson Intelligence Test For Children and Adults as the predictor. Results indicate that the Slosson IQ significantly predicts Wide Range standard scores. (Author)

The capability of the Slosson Intelligence Test and the Otis Lennon Mental Ability Test to predict academic achievement as measured by the Stanford Achievement Test is examined. The ability of the Slosson Intelligence Test to predict academic achievement was assessed by using three samples of pre-kindergarten pupils from three successive years in a large midwest school district. Results indicate a moderately good predictive power of the instrument. (Author/JKS)
