Zettel, Jeffrey J. – Journal for the Education of the Gifted, 1979
Among findings of the study were that over 75 percent of the states have statutory definitions of gifted and talented, 38 states have regulations or guidelines regarding the identification and screening of gifted children, and 42 states responded that they provided some type of inservice training for teachers (1976-77).
