Human Relations Skills and Training: Implications for Rehabilitation Counseling
Anthony, William A.
Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin, 16, 3, 180-188, Mar 73
The Carkuff-Berenson model of counseling is briefly outlined and rehabilitation research relevant to the model is summarized. A systematic human relations training program, combined with contact and education about physically disabled persons is suggested as the most effective approach toward training rehabilitation workers capable of counseling physically disabled adults.
