Dietz, Bernadette E. – International Journal of Aging & Human Development, 1996
Examines the relationship of age and two dimensions of self-esteem using a national sample of adults in the United States. Findings indicate that those over age 65 experience heightened levels of self-esteem, especially on self-efficacy, compared to their younger counterparts. Implications for findings are discussed.
