This 45 hour course offers basic instruction in the graphic arts field and is designed to introduce the student to, and give him/her the opportunity to perform basic activities in nine areas: (1) graphic design, (2) drawing interpretation, (3) intaglio printing, (4) letterpress printing, (5) rubber stamp making, (6) basic photography, (7) offset-lithography, (8) silk-screen printing, and (9) bindery. No prerequisite instruction is needed. Classroom instruction includes lecture, demonstrations, group discussions, and various audiovisual aids. Learning activity packages are available.
