Students who dropped out of college were divided into those with a satisfactory grade point average (nonacademic dropouts) and those who were forced out due to a low grade point average (academic dropouts). Contrary to previous research findings, it was discovered that nonacademic dropouts were not characterized by underachievement. (Author)

The relationship between students' sex and persistence in higher education is examined. Sex-typical experiences as an operationalization of sex are used in addition to the traditional label assigned at birth. Undergraduate men and women judged to be either high or low in creative ability were given the Tennessee Self Concept Scale and an ideal other questionnaire. Highly creative males gave TSCS responses similar to those of females with minimal creative ability. Highly creative females had the lowest self-esteem. (Author)

The Protest Situational Attitude Scale (PSAS) is designed to measure reactions to various types of protest behavior. The PSAS consists of two forms, a general, neutral version and a more extreme or concrete form. Results demonstrate that students have not become negatively disposed toward the idea of protest behavior. (Author)

This study focused on course completion by students enrolled in a psychology course. The course was offered to students through television and a computerized system for instructional feedback.
