This study examined the differential patterns of pairing counsellors and clients on the personality variable Tolerance of Ambiguity and the effects on amount of counsellor talk during the interview , expressed client satisfaction, and the numbers of interviews attended by the client. (Author)

The relationship between isolation in the elementary school classroom and self-concept was investigated. It was hypothesized that children who were isolated or rejected by their classmates would possess low self-concepts. No such relationship was found. Self-concepts of suburban children differed from those found in the rural sample. (Author)

A study involving 541 female students, in four grade levels in an urban commercial secondary school is reported. It was concluded that individual and group counselling have distinctively different effects, and that these effects tend to last for extended periods (at least one year) without reinforcement.
