A reading program was conducted with four students (grades 5-6) whose reading abilities were at the grade 2 level. The students evaluated children's reading materials to determine positive and negative features. Aspects of the program discussed are: approaching the group, design, process, bilingual aspects, rating system, and findings. (EC)
