A study was done to determine (1) if interaction exists between the feeling and action components of behavior demonstrable for energy conservation, and (2) the effectiveness of an energy education program in promoting the conservation ethic. Twelve studies are reviewed which tested the effectiveness of LEADER MATCH, a new leadership training method based on Fiedler's Contingency Model.
