A follow-up study of 951 graduates of Houston High School for Health Professions (Texas) raised some concern about the value of counseling services offered, financial barriers to pursuit of health-related careers, and stereotyping and career choice. Observers of Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) programs reviewed a sample of campuses to discover the results of nearly 10 years of participation. Found significant factors in the programs, and strategies for sustaining their momentum, that provide insight into current practices in graduate education and what future faculty need. (EV)

Of 38 recent graduates in agricultural communication, 67.7% were employed in the field. The majority were satisfied with their jobs.
