It is time to institutionalize the Peace Corps in much the same way that the ROTC programs have become a permanent educational fixture in American life. High school graduates would compete for scholarships and would be sworn in for 4 years in the Peace Corps after college graduation. (MLW)

A counseling program prepared for Georgetown University School of Dentistry is described. It trains students in concepts associated with short- and long-term financial planning, banking relationships, credit, business planning and structuring debt into an individual student's lifestyle. (MLW)

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro student financial aid office undertook a program to train staff in effective listening. Training involved personal videotaping of staff members, followed by feedback to staff and a handout for students (appended) to promote more successful interviews. Initial response has been positive.
