Recidivists scored significantly higher on the impulsive scale of the Problem Solving Inventory. The relationship of moderately elevated Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) Scales 2 and 7 to psychological help seeking, problem type, and academic progress was investigated.
