As integral partners for families with youth with chronic pain, school psychologists must understand the needs of these students and the universal, targeted, and individualized supports that can benefit their attendance, engagement, and academic success. This article provides an overview of daily challenges among Youth with chronic pain (YWCP) and highlights potential mechanisms for supporting their school success.
