This paper describes a model for personalizing instruction in teacher education, especially for culturally diverse students. DICSIE (Describe, Interact, Control, Select, Instruct, and Evaluate) is a systematic approach that can easily transform the college classroom to be a model of not only what to teach but how to teach.
