Experimental Provision of Closed Circuit Television at a Danish Public Library.

The results of an experiment on the usefulness of closed circuit television (CCTV) for 106 partially sighted visitors to a library in Copenhagen, Denmark, is presented. A large percentage of participants who had been unable to read before the experiment found that they could read with CCTV. (Author)

A Danish university's foreign language teacher education program's use of learning contracts is described. The student project has four major functions: solving a particular instructional problem, working in a group, finding a method that uses the individuals' skills to their best advantage, and organizing the work to be done.
