Points of view analysis, as a way to deal with individual differences in multidimensional scaling, was largely supplanted by the weighted Euclidean model. A technique is presented to transform incomplete categorical data into complete data by imputing appropriate scores into missing cells. The importance of regression diagnostics in detecting influential data points is discussed, and five statistics are recommended for the applied researcher.
