Experimental Schools Project. Final Report.
Hill, Edward E.; Eyres, John G.
This report describes the Experimental Schools Project (ESP) conducted by the Franklin Pierce School District in Tacoma, Washington, under funding from the National Institute of Education. The ESP was a five-year program designed to provide the optimum learning environment for each student. Each of the district's 13 schools attempted, through initial placement and continuous evaluation and monitoring, to provide each student with the most appropriate curriculum delivery system and learning environment possible. The report does not offer a formal evaluation or study of the ESP, but rather describes the history of the project and some of its accomplishments. (JG)
