Saflofske, D. H.; And Others – Programmed Learning and Educational Technology, 1977
The authors designed two courses which had as their core a common audiovisual package but which differed in the type of presentation used. One maximized face-to-face teaching, the other was conducted by telephone. Performance data and course evaluation are discussed. (BD)

This case study identified some of the special needs of adult learners taking a part-time inservice teacher education course by analyzing pressures experienced by learners, personal coping strategies, and sources of support students found useful. Implications for future course management are discussed. (MBR)
