Self prompting techniques were used to influence people to turn off lights in bathrooms. After consumers were given a method for self monitoring their behavior there was a significant drop in the number of times lights were left on in unoccupied bathrooms. (AJ)

Change-agent role playing was shown to have a positive effect on college geography students' attitudes toward environmental conservation issues and activities. A Likert attitude instrument and an item behavior frequency report, used as a pretest, posttest and delayed posttest, showed an increase in positive attitudes of the experimental group. (AJ)

The suites investigated in this study consisted of three small rooms housing four students and opening onto double-load corridors. Potential for interaction with many students is offered, but the likelihood of roommate incompatibility is increased. Satisfaction with suites was increased when students choose their own roommates.
