The article discussed the relationship between sex-role behaviors and assertiveness. It was concluded that assertive training is potentially valuable to students and educators alike in helping to modify some of the extreme behaviors associated with sex-role stereotypes and as such is beneficial in bringing about more adaptive forms of behavior in both males and females.
