Extraversion, Neuroticism, and Choosing to Write Autobiographies
Sell, John M.
Teaching of Psychology, 4, 4, 180-2, Dec 77
A study explored the relationship between personality characteristics and interest in writing an autobiography. Fifty-three undergraduates in a university course in the psychology of personality participated in the study. Results indicate that extraverted students chose not to engage in self-exploration by writing an autobiography, but that neurotic students did. (Author/AV)
