This discussion of current microcomputer technologies available to libraries focuses on software applications in four major classifications: communications (online database searching); word processing; administration; and database management systems. A remote computer terminal is used for data input in the production of a biweekly announcement bulletin covering journal literature. The terminal can also be used to query several catalog files.
