This paper outlines three training programs in sex counseling, labeled didactic, experiential and conjoint. It is suggested that the programs be implemented on a trial basis as modules of regular practicum courses in counselor education. (Author)

Several theoretical orientations to family counselling are proposed and some ideas advanced underlying public and professional acceptance of school counsellor work with the family. A unique three phase model of public consultation and enquiry was undertaken by the Government of British Columbia in co-operation with the religious communities to identify forces which enrich family life and pull the family apart.
