A theoretical learning model for educationally oriented recreation settings shows how cognitive outcomes are encouraged from interactive devices when a high level of perceived control is found. To determine the worth of leisure education for adolescents with mental retardation, this study tested a model program in the public schools of Wake County, North Carolina.
