Mabe, Ann – Urban Anthropology and Studies of Cultural Systems and World Economic Development, 1989
Discusses the structure, effectiveness, and problems of a format for an anthropology class called World Cultures. Basic research and anthropological concept lectures were delivered. An international and an American student were paired to research the international student's culture. Each pair then taught the class for a week. (JS)

A systems analysis is used to identify four curriculum domains of international education. They are the following: (1) global education; (2) contemporary cultures education; (3) international relations; and (4) development studies. Each is presented in terms of its key goals and central concepts. Several innovative projects are described. (VM)
