Profiles of Selected Innovating Secondary Schools. Working Paper No. 259.
Klausmeier, Herbert J.
In this paper, principals and other persons of innovating middle schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools associated with the Wisconsin Research and Development Center for Individualized Schooling describe the most interesting features of their schools and respond to a features checklist. They provide the names of contact persons in their schools and list materials explaining their programs' activities. The profiles were gathered and published as part of the activities of the Wisconsin Project on the Renewal and Improvement of Secondary Education. The background of the Wisconsin Project is provided. Included are comprehensive objectives that may be employed by a school to guide its own renewal and improvement efforts. These objectives were used in developing the items of the checklist and were completed by each school. (Author)
