Grants have been made to eight states (Alabama, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Washington, and Wisconsin) to develop a system of occupational information for career seeking individuals. Program objectives are to publicize careers available, provide knowledge of information centers, counseling, and training programs for these careers, and assist in decision-making for career satisfaction. Individual reports from the participating states for the first grant year present information under the following headings: name of submitting agency, person to contact for further information, funding level for FY 1976, introduction, information dissemination, information development, system utilization, and organization and staffing.
