The result of a joint effort of the Texas State Library and the Statistics Committee of the Texas Council of State University Librarians, this publication provides a comprehensive source of statistical data on academic libraries in the state. The report contains a directory of the 150 participating institutions (33 four-year public schools, 32 four-year private schools, 69 two-year schools, 4 law schools, and 12 health science centers), and data tables organized by type of institution. The tables include data on each institution's collections, personnel, income, expenditures, circulation, special services, and facilities. Footnotes, operational definitions, and the survey form and instructions are appended. (SD)
