A summary of portions of the 1983-84 Annual Survey of Optometric Educational Institutions conducted by the American Optometric Association Council on Optometric Education is presented. Information on student enrollment, academic achievement, financial, and student expenditures are highlighted. (MLW)

Students at 12 of the 13 schools and colleges of optometry were surveyed for demographic, socioeconomic, and financial characteristics in 1975-76.
