Hidayat, Riyan; Adnan, Mazlini; Abdullah, Mohd Faizal Nizam Lee; Safrudiannur – EURASIA Journal of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education, 2022
The research presented in this article is a systematic review of the literature on the assessment of mathematical modeling in the setting of mathematics education published in the previous five years. This research has compiled the current best information from around the world to offer an overview of the assessment of mathematical modeling for…

Grossberg, Stephen; Rudd, Michael E. – Psychological Review, 1992
A large body of data is reviewed to support a new theory of motion perception described by S. Grossberg and M. E. Rudd (1989). The Motion Boundary Contour System is used to explain classical and recent data about motion perception that have not been explained by other models. (SLD)

Fox, John; Moore, James C., Jr. – Social Psychology Quarterly, 1979
Fourteen experimental studies were reviewed using linear model of Berger et al. The model fits the data from these experiments remarkably well. These results demonstrate the utility and apparent validity of this theory of status-organizing processes. (Author/RD)

Navon, David; Gopher, Daniel – Psychological Review, 1979
An approach to human performance based on economic concepts is described; the human system employs utility considerations to determine allocation of its limited resources. The efficiency of those resources in performance depends on parameters characterizing the task and the performer. Models and interpretations of dual task performance are…

McClelland, James L. – Psychological Review, 1979
The cascade model of information processing is compatible with the relation between time and accuracy in speed-accuracy trade-off experiments. Findings regarding the additive factors methods led to reexamination of conclusions drawn from several studies about the locus of perceptual and attentional effects on processing. (Author/RD)

Whitely, Susan E. – Intelligence, 1980
This article examines the potential contribution of latent trait models to the study of intelligence. Nontechnical introductions to both unidimensional and multidimensional latent trait models are given. Multidimensional latent trait models can be used to test alternative multiple component theories of test item processing. (Author/CTM)
