Too Dark to Be Angels: The Class System among the Cherokees at the Female Seminary.
Mihesuah, Devon A.
American Indian Culture and Research Journal, v15 n1 p29-52 1991
Cherokee Female Seminary in Indian Territory provided high quality education for Cherokee girls, 1851-1909.
