Writing Successful Proposals. School Accountability Series. Monograph 7.
Williams, Don
This is one of eight short monographs intended to aid practicing educators in planning and conducting accountability programs in schools. This booklet discusses how to develop and prepare funding proposals for consideration by government agencies and private foundations. It is not intended to deal with the unique requirements of particular funding agencies, but rather with the concepts and procedures that are essential to the proposal development process. Short sections focus in turn on preproposal deliberations, identification of funding sources, guidelines for the development of project proposals, and followup review procedures. Written exercises are included at the end of the booklet to enable readers to assess their understanding of the material presented. (Author/JG)
