The Cooperative Parent Infant Institute sponsored by the Iowa Department of Public Instruction and the Iowa School for the Deaf has served 85 preschool age hearing impaired children since 1978 by providing (1) a parent education program, (2) supplementary diagnostic evaluations, and (3) a family centered recreation program.
