Describes use by an elementary school of a floppy disk network system--Radio Shack Network II with a TRS-80 Model III and four Model I microcomputers--for various subject areas and grade levels. Advantages described include lack of problems with downloading programs, ease of operation, and loading time saved. (MBR)

The results of a study addressing the problems of the management information system of the State University System of Florida are discussed. It is suggested that a majority of the problems did not reside in software and hardware applications but in general management practices. Recommendations are also included. (SF)
