The study of 77 severely and 72 mildly mentally retarded and 101 control children, aged 9-10, in the Province of Kuopio, Finland, found that care of the severely retarded children took 6 times longer than that of the controls, while care of mildly retarded children took 2 times longer. (Author/JDD)
