A survey of problems related to stress encountered by Canadian dental students was conducted. Few demographic features predicted the level of students' problems, although there was an indication that those who perceived themselves above average academically reported fewer problems. (Author/MLW)

Using data obtained from 117 guidance counselors, two trends that could prove threatening to public school education in Canada are examined.
