This course description was developed by educators for use at the Work Opportunity Center which was established to teach high school dropouts and/or hard-core unemployed youth. The ultimate objectives of this course are to prepare students for employment in dry cleaning occupations and to assist them in completing their high school graduation requirements. Instruction in marking, invoicing, and customer service is on an individualized basis conducted in an innovative atmosphere of "learning by doing." Included in this course description are a program evaluation, an annotated bibliography, teaching techniques and materials, and case studies.
