Relation of Patient Attributes to Perceptions of the Treatment Environment.
Moos, Rudolf H.; Bromet, Evelyn
Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, v46 n2 p350-51 Apr 1978
Social climate of residential alcoholism programs was assessed using Community-Oriented Programs Environment Scale (COPES). COPES perceptions were independent of patient background, psychosocial functioning, and alcohol-related characteristics. In conjunction with previous research, results indicate perceptions of social climate of treatment programs are not simply measures of personal characteristics of the perceivers. (Author/BEF)
