This is a report on a conference on "Students and Politics" held at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan from March 27-31, 1967. The purpose of the conference was to bring together scholars from various counstries who have been doing research on the nature and causal background of university student participation in politics. Some 36 papers were presented at the conference. A list of participants and the papers presented is attached as an appendix. The various sessions of the conference were set up to discuss different regions. The following represents an effort to integrate the conclusions drawn from the papers and the discussion. (Author)
