Developing Resource-Oriented Mechanisms To Enhance Learning Supports.
California Univ., Los Angeles. Center for Mental Health in Schools.
Schools increasingly are recognizing that leaving no student behind requires a comprehensive, multifaceted, and integrated system of learning supports. To establish such a system, initiatives to improve schools must evolve current student supports into a full-fledged component dedicated to addressing barriers to learning. This calls for new directions that end the marginalization and fragmentations of learning supports. This set of training modules is designed as an aid for training leaders and staff about the importance of and how to establish effective resource-oriented mechanisms to advance development of a comprehensive, multifaceted, and integrated learning supports (or enabling) component at every school.
