This study examined all references cited in 1988 and 1989 issues of the "Gifted Child Quarterly" and the "Journal of Creative Behavior." Conclusions indicated a tendency to cite less recent publications than in educational research at large and citation of a wide variety of journal sources. The most frequently cited journals are identified. (DB)
