This study examines data reflecting the actual impact during the first 3 years of use of the second edition of the Anglo American Cataloging Rules (AACR2) in one library, and compares them with a 5-year projection done in 1980. Findings showed the impact was close to the projection. (Author/EM)

This study, which focused on the extent to which Lake Forest College (Illinois) students were aware of library reference services, used interviews and a revised version of a survey used elsewhere. Reports results of a survey of 613 heavy users of scientific and technical books and journals in U.S. libraries. Information obtained through interviews includes sex and occupation of interviewees; the type of resource most recently used; why and how it was used; and the type of library used. (EM)

Twenty-one libraries in Library Computer System participated in collection overlap study. Findings of random sample representing 1% of each collection indicate that high percentage of titles, 69.4%, occurred only once in network and that percentage of each library's collection unique to that library, ranged from 6.1% to 68.4%.
