Prescribing Interventions for Internet Novices Based on Stages of Concern.
Chen, Ming-Puu
Educational Media International, v36 n4 p295-99 Dec 1999
Examines the type of innovation-decision (authority-decision versus optional decision) and type of intervention (concern-based versus non-concern-based) on arousing educators' concerns toward the Internet. Results suggest that authority-decision is more effective than optional-decision and concern-based intervention more effective than non-concern. Stages of Concern Questionnaires were conducted to assess novices' concerns toward the Internet. (Author/AEF)
